More dogs run away on the 4th of July than any other day of the year. It is important to understand why dogs are afraid of fireworks and what you can to do make the experience less stressful for them.


While most dog owners think they have a safe and secure home, it’s always beneficial to make sure your dog’s environment is ready for a chaotic night. A few simple precautions can be the difference between having a relaxing evening and having to search for your runaway dog.
